ONVIF to present at PSA TEC 2019

November 27, 2018 by ONVIF

Why is an open platform important? How can access control standards optimize the IoT environment? How do we break the proprietary ecosystem of access control hardware?

These are just a few of the topics to be discussed by Per Björkdahl, ONVIF Steering Committee Chair, at PSA TEC 2019. TEC deems itself the premier education and networking event for all professional systems integrators, featuring industry leading education and certification programs, networking and exhibit hours dedicated to the advancement of skills and expertise of industry professionals nationwide.

With the demand for unlimited third-party integrations on the rise, Björkdahl will focus on how open platform approaches are continuing to gain popularity amongst end users. Common interfaces provide not only interoperability between hardware and software, but also the necessary pathways between sensors and management platforms to receive and export data in a universal manner.

Join us on Tuesday, March 12 in Denver, Colo. to learn why access control is the next step in transforming the smart building environment, and how standards play a pivotal role in the process.
