TLS Configuration Add-on

For encrypted communication using TLS

  • Enables initial configuration and update of TLS settings

(Add-on deprecation in process; last date of product conformance submissions for version 1.0 is March 31, 2027. Version 2.0 is scheduled for early 2027 to replace version 1.0. See press release and Q&As for details.)

Secure communication between ONVIF clients and devices is a key market demand. This add-on allows for encrypted communication between a conformant client and device using the Transport Layer Security (TLS) cryptographic protocol.

A conformant ONVIF client with this add-on would be able to configure and update the TLS settings on a conformant ONVIF device with support for the same add-on.
