Despite the postponement of ISC West 2020 and many other signature security and technology events, ONVIF and its member companies adapt to the changing landscape and continue to work towards the development of innovative technologies and new ONVIF<\/a> conformant products to add to their portfolios. In lieu of face-to-face meetings and product showcases, here are some of the ways ONVIF\u2019s members<\/a> have continued to work towards a safer, connected world – virtually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex Asnovich, head of global marketing, Video Security & Analytics, Motorola Solutions<\/strong>
When we made the decision to withdraw from ISC West, we knew we had to continue providing Motorola Solutions<\/a>\u2019 customers with information pertaining to our latest announcements and technologies. With a tight timeline of only twelve days, we worked to pull all of the materials and staffing needed to launch our first-ever virtual showcase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This\nfeatured a website that hosted pre-recorded product demonstrations,\nhighlighting our fixed video and physical security, mobile video including\nbody-worn and in-car solutions, video analytics, artificial intelligence,\naccess control and cloud services. To ensure that our users were able to still\nask questions and engage with our product experts, we also included a real-time\nchat function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By\ndoing this, we experienced incredible results. We hosted over 10,000 booth\nvisits, completed over 12,000 demos and had nearly 4,000 users register! As we\ncontinue to navigate through these unprecedented times, we will continue to\nfind new and creative ways to communicate with our partners and customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite the circumstances, our priority to keep customers and partners up to date with the latest Eagle Eye Networks<\/a> news remains. We applaud ISC West\u2019s postponement and while we wait for the opportunity to come together again, we have put forth a digital conference to continue sharing all the exciting news happening at Eagle Eye Networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting on March 17, we began posting content for this digital conference on a weekly basis. This content consists of videos covering all the topics that would have been shared on the show floor. From product demos to partnership announcements, all firsthand from our product experts. We will be continuing to post new content every week over the next 30 days and we look forward to seeing everyone again in October. While we\u2019re adapting to the postponement of ISC West and other major events, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bosch Building Technologies<\/a> and its partners continue to be at the forefront of driving new, innovative technologies. In 2020, IoT and AI are already part of our everyday life.This also offers new possibilities for connected security devices beyond their traditional uses. Smart security devices now act as sensors, gathering information on activity or objects to provide business insights and bring new value to organizations. We must anticipate how these capabilities will change end user requirements and preferences.
