As in years past, ONVIF is excited to join nearly 30 of\nits member companies in participating in this event. This event will feature\nmore than 1,300 exhibitors and feature a variety of industries &#8211; from\ncommercial security and infrastructure protection, to safety and health and\nhomeland security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ONVIF, as the leading global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security products, will be taking part in a number of presentations describing the standardized approach to security. These presentations are part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/intersec.ae.messefrankfurt.com\/dubai\/en\/programme-events\/conferences-and-workshops\/future-security-summit.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Intersec Future Security Summit 2020<\/a> and will be held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center. The summit has been designed for end users with the goal of helping them understand how disruptive technologies are addressing digital and physical security challenges. Industry experts, including those from ONVIF, will analyze threats, outline security loopholes in ecosystems and discuss how cutting edge technologies can meet security requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per Bj\u00f6rkdahl, chair of the ONVIF Steering\nCommittee said ONVIF is excited for the opportunity to discuss how standards\nare key to providing flexibility in a variety of applications. In addition to\nproviding cost-saving benefits to end users, standards assist in seamless\nintegrations &#8211; allowing for best solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On January 20, Per Bj\u00f6rkdahl will be participating in a panel discussion title <a href=\"https:\/\/intersec.ae.messefrankfurt.com\/dubai\/en\/programme-events\/conferences-and-workshops\/future-security-summit\/programme.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">\u201cEnterprise Security: Challenges for New Age Security Managers.\u201d<\/a> With the goal of developing, implementing and maintaining resilient programs in complex environments, this discussion will also focus on the need for flexible, simple and modular integrated systems. Also taking place in the discussion will be Joule Sullivan, director of international security operations for Abbot and David K. Young, chief executive officer for Oxford Analytica. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, on January 20, Stuart Rawling, head of segment marketing at Pelco and ONVIF Steering Committee member, will present on the topic, <a href=\"https:\/\/intersec.ae.messefrankfurt.com\/dubai\/en\/programme-events\/conferences-and-workshops\/arena\/programme.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">\u201cConverging systems into one operational interface to improve the security intelligence and oversight of shopping malls and retail parks.\u201d<\/a> Attendees can expect to learn how using a standardized interface for security systems will mitigate risk, provide scalability and aid in capitalizing on business opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees are encouraged to visit the ONVIF booth, which will be located at Trade Centre Arena at #SA-L17, as well as attend these presentations and panel discussions.
